Olde English Southdown Babydoll  Lambs!

Our first lamb of the Spring 2010 season is here!!!

We are happy to introduce "LuLu Sunflower," a registered black ewe born on February 19, 2010.  We will be keeping Lulu to add to our flock, but we should have lots of lambs born within in another month or so that will be available for adoption.

We will have approximately 10 lambs for sale beginning in April 2010.  Based on past experience, we should have both black and white lambs of both genders available.

Most of our lambs are sold registered as registered stock, with ewe lambs selling for $600.00 and ram lambs selling for $400.00.  We usually have a few full-blooded babydolls that are unregistered for sale for $300.00.  Also, we sometimes have special cases in which a lamb must be bottle-fed, and these lambs may sell for a reduced rate if you are willing to adopt the lamb while it still needs to be bottle-fed. This is because bottle-feeding lambs is time consuming, and we have a human baby that needs to be bottle-fed, which is also time consuming! :)

If you'd like to reserve a spring lamb, please email us at mitschke@oneworldfarm.com.

Also Available:

Fresh Eggs!

Farm fresh eggs from our beautiful hens!  They come in a rainbow of beautiful, all-natural colors--white, brown, and greenish-blue.  We have eggs available for purchase for $3.00 per dozen, and we donate the proceeds to the Karen refugee community in Dallas, TX.  For more on Karen Refugees, see the links on our home page.  Check out our Chickens page for more information about farm-raised eggs and nutrition facts.

Raw Wool

We sell raw, unwashed fleece from our baby doll sheep as it is available.  A big trash bag full of wool sells for $15, but if you want to come help us shear, we'll give you the wool for free!

One World Farm is just getting up and running, but in the near future we plan to have food products such as organic honey, jellies and jams, goat milk and goat cheese available for purchase.  Have ideas for other products that would be great at One World Farm?  Contact us with your suggestions!
