This page is dedicated to the animals who have graced One World Farm with their innocence, playfulness, and love, and who are no longer with us on the farm.
We have loved each and every one of them, and miss them very, very much.

Fritz
"Fritz Allen Reesie Refugio Barker Mayo Moyle Randel El Mitschke"
June 16, 1997-December 26, 2007
Fritz was our 10 year old salt and pepper miniature schnauzer. He was our first pet, and he was a part of our family since the very first year we met. Our "little buddy" moved with us from Texas to Michigan, then to Hawaii and back to Texas. We will never forget our boy and the joy he brought to our lives. We miss him so much!

Laverne
January 2007-April 2007
Laverne and Shirley were two sweet Nigerian Dwarf goat kids that we adopted in Spring 2007. They were ill when we got them, and despite numerous trips to the vet to fight the infection, we weren't able to save them. They won our hearts in the short time that we had them, and we were so sad to see them go.

Shirley
January 2007-March 2007

Linus
January 2007-August 2007
Linus was a colorful spotted Nigerian Dwarf wether kid that ended up on the losing end of a battle with a stray dog that attacked him while we were away. We've since purchased Bonnie, a livestock guardian dog, in the hopes of preventing a similar tragedy in the future.

Matilda
March 2006-April 2008
Matilda was our LaMancha dairy goat who gave birth to two adorable twin boys in late February 2008. She was a great mom, and loved her kids very much, always looking out for them and making sure they were safe. Not long after the boys were born, Matilda developed a severe case of mastitis, and despite treatment with several strong antibiotics and other treatments, she succumbed to the illness and died after a valiant fight.
