Roscoe (6 years old) and Otis (1 year old) are brothers.  The best way to describe them is "aloof."  They are very curious, and are always interested in what is happening around the farm, yet they are also very shy.  We are working with them so that they will hopefully become more friendly.  In fact, a local high school student is doing her science fair project on llama behavior this year, and Roscoe and Otis are two of her participants.  So we hope to see much more friendly llamas come springtime! Attempting to shear them this spring was an amazingly difficult task that we hope will become easier as we learn more and they learn to trust us more.  For now, they're fun to watch as they gallop around the pasture and wrestle with each other.
